Pamela Jo (Momma) Adair, 77, of Buffalo, died Monday, Oct. 10, 2022, at her home.
She was the daughter of Ronald Ben and Ruth Clementine Richmond and was later raised by her mother and stepfather Harold Pratt.
After Pamela graduated Fair Grove High School in 1962, she attended Draughon’s Business College to pursue a career in accounting and worked in that field for many years until she retired in 1997. Pamela loved to work in her garden when she was still healthy enough to do so and loved to watch hummingbirds outside of her kitchen window every day.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years Ritchie Alan Adair; her daughter Robyn and her husband Robert Jones; her son, James Dee Layton and his wife Denise Stringer-Layton; one granddaughter, Bethany Brown and her husband Lonnie Garroutte; two step-granddaughters, Kirsten Marino and Samantha Marino; nine great-grandchildren, Aiden, Vincent, Lyrik, Joe’l, Le’Yahna, Zion, Lakayla, Jay Jay, and Neli; her friend of more than 20 years, Susie Taylor and her three children, Josie, Eli, and Jessie.
A funeral service for Pamela Jo Adair will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, in the Gorham-Scharpf Funeral Home in Springfield.
