Orville Mortimore, 92, of Springfield, formerly of Waynesville, a United States Army and Korean War veteran, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2024, in the Osage Beach Health and Rehab Center of Osage Beach.
He is survived by his wife Kathy Mortimore of Camdenton; son, Patrick D. Mortimore (Karen Marie Gebhardt) of Springfield; two stepchildren, Johanna Curtner (Brad) of Camdenton and Jimmy Childers of St. Robert; two grandsons, Graham C. Mortimore (Abby) of St. Charles and Quinn P. Mortimore of Springfield; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held beginning at 11 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at noon Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024, in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Burial with military honors will follow in the Waynesville Memorial Park Cemetery of Waynesville.
