Opal Arlene Dowden, 77, of Phillipsburg, died Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
She is survived by her significant other, Thomas Sams; three daughters, Nancy Hamilton, Christina Wagner and husband Kendle, all of Lebanon, and Rachel O’Donnell and her husband Todd of Purdy; three sons, Waylan Dowden, David Dowden and his significant other Tina, and Ricky Dowden and his wife Debbie, all of Lebanon; one sister, Evelyn McDaniel of Lebanon; her brothers, Virgil Sein, Delbert Sein, Charley Sein and Glen Sein, all of Lebanon; 19 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon. Burial will be in Mount Rose Memorial Park. Visitation was held from 5-6:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. A memorial to St. Jude’s or Project 360 has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
