Sophomore Olivia McGruder entered the 2022 season with high expectations for herself as the No. 1 singles player for the Lebanon High School girls’ tennis team.
Those expectations were met on Saturday at the Class 2 District 5 tournament after McGruder finished runner-up and punched her ticket to the Class 2 State tournament that will be held on Thursday, October 13, in Springfield.
“Coming into the season, my goals were to be All-Ozark Conference, All-District, and qualify for State,” she said.
