Statements for personal property and real estate taxes have been mailed and Laclede County residents have until Dec. 31 to get them paid without penalty.
“Everyone should have received their statements in the mail by now,” said Laclede County Collector Steve Pickering. “If you haven’t for any reason, you will need to contact our office. “We have had a lot of questions this year about the amounts due and how taxes have gone up in comparison to last year… this has to do with the value of personal property increasing.”
