The Laclede County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in finding a vehicle whose driver is wanted for questioning in a March 22 murder.
Investigators are looking for a newer model Mazda CX style SUV.
“We are currently asking for residents in this area to contact the Sheriff’s Office if they have video surveillance from March 22nd which may have captured the suspect vehicle driving the above-described route,” the Sheriff’s Office said on Facebook.
Eric B. Rodriguez, 46, of Kansas City was found dead in his burnt vehicle on March 23 on Walnut Road near Bass Road in Laclede County last week. Preliminary autopsy results indicate that Rodriguez suffered a gunshot wound prior to the body being burned, according to Laclede County Sheriff David Millsap.
