A man and a woman from Lebanon were arrested after law enforcement officers found drugs while conducting a search warrant and traffic stop Monday.
Members of Lebanon Police Department, Laclede County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and Narcotics team 9/Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group conducted the search in the area of Ivey Lane in Lebanon.
Officers located approximately a quarter pound of methamphetamine, a large quantity of prescription pills, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia according to Lebanon Police Det. Sgt. Kacie Springer. A 37-year-old white female and a 21-year-old white female, both from Lebanon, were arrested and transported to the Laclede County Jail pending formal charges from the Laclede County Prosecutor’s Office, she said.
The above charges are mere accusation and are not evidence of guilt. Evidence in support of these charges must be presented before a court of competent jurisdiction whose duty is to determine guilt or innocence, according to a police news release.
