A Laclede County man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Nathan Young, whose dismembered body was discovered in October near Eldridge. Shane Patrick Norman, 30, of Eldridge, pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and armed criminal action last week in Laclede County Court. Norman, who is being held without bond in the Laclede County Jail, was last in court on Monday when he appeared for a counsel status hearing. Norman is represented by Springfield attorney Alexander Musgrave, according to court records. He is next scheduled to be in court on April 27 for a preliminary hearing.
