Nina Jean Kimrey Bates, 70, of Lebanon, was born Aug. 15, 1953, in Plato to Edward and Ruth Kimrey and died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024. She is survived by her son, Bryan Bates and his wife Tabitha of Kentucky; five grandchildren; three brothers, Eddie Kimrey and his wife Brenda of Lebanon, Gary Kimrey and his wife Linda of Phillipsburg, Mike Kimrey and his wife Michelle of Marshfield; five sisters, Shirley Morton of St. Louis, Judy Mathis and her husband Bill of Marshfield, Barbara Stepp and her husband Rick of Nebo, Carol Foell and her husband Rocky of Lebanon, Cristi Smith and Joe of Roby. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, at Plato Christian Church. Burial was in Stark Cemetery under the direction of Evans Funeral Home of Houston. Contributions may be made to the family of Nina to assist with funeral arrangements.
