New Van Buren/Springfield intersection to open Monday

The City of Lebanon will open up the new Van Buren/Springfield Road connector initially as a four-way stop on Monday. The city has announced a ribbon cutting ceremony for the connector to be held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. City of Lebanon Communications Manager Derek Gean said the Lebanon street department will soon build a curb across the entrance of the existing Van Buren at Commercial, closing it off to traffic.
