Myron Douglas McKinney, 77, of Lebanon, died Thursday, July 30, 2020, in Lebanon.

He was born Nov. 20, 1942, in Modesto, Calif. to Collin and June Fisher McKinney, who preceded him in death.

On Jan. 12, 1979, he married Margaret “Lynn’’ Hale.

He was a union carpenter for many years. He was also a farrier for 29 years until his retirement.

Myron was a longtime active and faithful member of Hayes Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife Lynn McKinney; four children, son Michael, daughter, Brie, son David and his wife Cindy and daughter, Lisa; one sister, Glenda and her husband Richard DeGough; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one on the way; many nieces and nephews; and his much loved brethren in Christ and many dear friends.

A memorial service for Myron Douglas McKinney will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, 2020, at Hayes Street Church of Christ with Todd Richardson and Jim Franklin officiating, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. In lieu of flowers, Myron’s family is requesting donations to the furtherance of the Gospel or to assist needy saints. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, 1001 N.
