Physical evidence in a Laclede County murder investigation has been sent to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Lab for analysis. The Laclede County Sheriff’s Office and Missouri Highway Patrol Division of Drug and Crime Control have been investigating the death of Nathan Andrew Young, 33, of Marshfield, since his body was discovered on Nov. 6 near Eldridge in rural Laclede County. Laclede County Sheriff David Millsap said at the time that “the condition of the body indicates murder.” On Monday, Millsap told the Record that his department had sent physical evidence to the Highway Patrol to be processed and analyzed.
