MSG (Ret.) Rickie Douglas Mills, 75, of Waynesville, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022, in Phelps Health Hospital in Rolla.
He is survived by his wife Kimberlee Mills of Waynesville; four children, Shawn Mills of Mesa, Ariz.; Jason Mills (Sabrina) of Springfield; Veronica Marquez of Statesville, N.C., and Raymond Weldon of Fort Bragg, N.C.; three grandchildren, Jessica Spangler, Eric Mills, Tyler Weldon; a brother, Bill Mills of Zanesville, Ohio; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial gathering and prayer service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2022, in Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. A graveside service with full military honors will follow at 1 p.m. in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Waynesville.
