MSG (Ret) Franklin Garner “Frank’’ Pyle, 88, of Houston, Mo., formerly of Waynesville, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020, in the Houston House Nursing Center of Houston.
He is survived by two stepchildren, Charlotte Jones (Michael) of Tiffin, Ohio and Steve Combs (Lisa) of Crocker; eight grandchildren, Steven Combs of Olathe, Kan.; Matt Gamblin (Sarah) of Paola, Kan.; Michael Combs (Kylie) of Dayton, Ohio; Sabrina Bernt (Michael) of Enterprise, Ala.; Andrew Combs (Katy) of St. James; Kyle Harrison of Jefferson City; Mindi Green (Scott) of Crocker and Nathaniel Combs of Crocker; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; one sister, Charlotte Morgan (HB) of Benton, Ark.; one sister-in-law, Sharon Courtney (Buster) of Raymondville; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020, in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Estates Cemetery of Waynesville. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral chapel.
