Mitchell Eugene “Mitch’’ Schoonover Jr., 60, of Montreal, was born Aug. 5, 1965, in Fort Worth, Texas to Mitchell E. Schoonover Sr. and Margaret (Marxmiller) Schoonover and died Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Montreal.
He is survived by one son, Lenny Schoonover and his wife Shelly of Shelbyville; seven grandchildren; siblings, Janie Schaffer of Linn Creek, Tommy Collum and his wife Bobbi of Montreal, Margaret Harper and her husband Dwight of Strafford, Teresa Schoonover of Eldon, Gary Schoonover of New York and Dylan Embry and his wife Lori of Lebanon.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in New Home Cemetery near Falcon.
