Motorists driving along Jefferson Avenue are seeing some improvements taking place to the stave mill.
Independent Stave Company, Missouri Cooperage in Lebanon is working on renovations to its plant on Jefferson Avenue to install new equipment for barrel-making.
Brad Boswell, CEO of Missouri Cooperage, said the company is razing buildings constructed 70 years ago. The buildings have been replaced with structures housing a new barrel-bullding technology called GS, patent pending.
