Mike L. Ross, 70, of Lebanon, died Wednesday, March 4, 2020.

He was born March 21, 1949, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Donald Lewis and Norene Adair Carroll Ross.

Mike married Donna Joan West.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Albert Snider.

Mike was in sales and management for Tony’s Pizza Company in Missouri and Virginia. He moved to the Bennett Spring area in 1996 and began working as a truck driver for MFA Propane. However, he was most passionate about fly fishing. He tied flies professionally for shops in St. Louis and Bennett Spring. They were also sold in several catalogs. He designed his own flies and taught others how to tie them.

He faithfully attended First Baptist Church for many years.

Survivors include his wife Donna; six children, Mishelle Schaffner (Shawn) of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; Jackie Thomas (Patrick) of Columbia; Lisa Barnes (Derick) Mount Vernon; Aaron Brown of Columbia; Becky Bock (Adam) Palmyra, and Chrissy Daingerfield (Jeff) of Natick, Mass.; four brothers, Charley Snider (Gina) of Shelbina; Richard Snider (Cindy) of Shelbina; John Snider (Michelle) Macon; Joe Snider (Tammy) also of Shelbina; two sisters, Karyl Self (John) of Hannibal, and Sara Wilt (Gary) of Shelbina; eleven grandchildren, Josie and Tyler Barnes, Anthony, Carson, Haydon and Maya Bock, Hannah Cook, Jacob and Shelby Schaffner, and Kobe and Kyler Thomas; three great-grandchildren, Paxton and Talen Cook and Rory Bock; sisters and brothers-in-law, Deanna Armstrong of West Plains and Debbie and Larry Stewart of Clarence, Mo.; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

The family of Mike L. Ross has postponed his Celebration of Life and will be announced at a later date, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
