Mercy sets up temporary triage in front of hospital

Posted
A trailer now in front of Mercy Hospital in Lebanon is part of the facility’s plan for dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. Judy O’Connor-Snyder, executive director of nursing at Mercy, speaking at Thursday’s community briefing on the novel coronavirus, said the trailer will house the hospital’s “forward triage.” “That is for our patients that are seeking emergency services,” she said. “How that’s set up is the patients do not even enter the hospital. They can drive up and be screened from their car. If they are symptomatic, they will be segregated within the trailer out front.” For more on this story see Saturday's LCR.
