Melvin “Mel’’ Lewis Troyer, 78, of Marshfield was born Oct. 31, 1944, in Springfield to William Lewis Troyer and Olive Katherine (Kellogg). He died Monday, June 5, 2023, in the Marshfield Care Center. He is survived by his wife Mardellya M. Troyer of the home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 16, 2023, at the Marshfield United Methodist Church. Burial will be at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Emporia, Kan. at a later date under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home Inc. of Marshfield. Memorial contributions may be made to Marshfield United Methodist Church or St. Jude Children’s Hospital and left in care of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., P.O. Box 85, Marshfield, Mo. 65706.
