Mayor proposes plan to help customers pay utility bills

Mayor Jared Carr will be advancing a request to transfer $50,000 from City of Lebanon electric reserves to Missouri Ozarks Community Action Program, or MOCA, to help provide relief to qualifying customers during impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic. The mayor is expected to bring the bill before the Lebanon City Council at the May 11 meeting. The program would help provide qualifying customers with a one-time electric bill payment assistance. MOCA is one of the area agencies that already helps community members in need.
