Maxine Prock, 94, of Falcon, died Saturday, June 18, 2022, at her home.
She was born Jan. 31, 1928, in Laclede County, Mo. to Vaughn and Florence Hall Dougan.
On Nov. 28, 1947, she married Howard James Prock in Harrison, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Howard on Sept. 10, 2012.
Maxine was a devoted homemaker and the needs of her family always came first. She also worked outside her home. She was a seamstress at H.D. Lee for over 10 years and later worked as a secretary for Gasconade School District for over 15 years. She enjoyed tending to the cattle over the years and dinners with friends. Time spent and memories shared with her family is what she treasured most. She was a member of Lynchburg Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Stanley Prock and his wife Marsha of Falcon, and Ross Prock and his wife Hila of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Michael Shannon Prock, Shana Ra Amos and her husband Scott, Shandy Lea Williams and her husband Brad, Kelly Jo Westerhold and her husband Greg and Kyle Ross Prock; three great-grandchildren, Isabella Marie Westerhold, Alexandra Renee Westerhold and Vivienne Ada Williams; other relatives and friends
A graveside service and burial for Maxine Prock will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Lebanon Cemetery with Tim Blankenship officiating, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call or pay their respects at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel after 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2022.
