MARY "MITZY" KINION

Mary Eleanor “Mitzy’’ Kinion, 82, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2024, in Lebanon.

She was born Aug. 2, 1941, in Mexico, Mo. to John Edward and Marry Harris.

On July 11, 1959, she was united in marriage to Albert Thomas “Tom’’ Kinion.

Those preceding her in death include her parents; her husband Tom on July 20, 2020; one son, Kenneth Edward “Kenny’’ Kinion; a great-granddaughter, Mikayla Kincheloe, and siblings, Gay and Bob Harris.

Mary spent most of her life in the Lebanon area. She loved her home and most enjoyed when she was surrounded by her family. In younger years, she enjoyed horseback riding. She also enjoyed sewing, crafts and gardening. Although her top priority was tending to the needs of her family, she also worked outside her home. She worked at the hospital and the library for many years.

Mitzy is survived by two children, Mary Parker and her husband Jeff and Scott Kinion and his wife Cathy; one sister, Pam Biddle and her husband Jim; five grandchildren, Heather Kincheloe and her husband James, Hope Croak and her husband David, Michael Kinion and his wife Kristi, Tyler Rear and his wife Madi and Trevor Rear; nine great-grandchildren, Caleb Croak, Colby Kincheloe, Connor Croak, Kwynn Kinion, Tomack Kincheloe, Miles Kinion, Knox Kinion and Monroe Rear; other relatives and many friends.

There will be a private graveside service for Mitzy at Oakland Moravian Cemetery with Pastor Michael Kinion officiating.

Memorials have been suggested to Claws & Paws Animal Adoption Center. Donations may be left at or mailed to Shadel’s Colonial Chapel, 1001 N. Lynn or P.O. Box 948, Lebanon, Mo. 65536.
