SFC (Ret.) Mark Anthony Moda, 64, of Roby, died Thursday, April 20, 2023, in his home.
He is survived by four children, Matt Moda of Roby; Clyde Welsh (Shelly) of Virgil, S.D.; Dennis Welsh (Cerissa) of Crocker, and Misty Steinbach of Plato; 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; his stepfather, Dean Lindstrom of Kearney, Neb.; seven siblings, Rhonda Schroeder (Larry) of Wilcox, Neb.; Callie Gronborg (Lynn) of Avoca, Iowa; Tonja Koenigs (Eric) of Yankston, S.D.; Bill Lindstrom (Julie) of Cheyenne, Wyo.; Shirley Messerchmidt (Dana) of Blair, Neb.; Cindy Mattan of Fountain Hills, Ariz., and Randy Lindstrom (Claudia) of the state of Virginia; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2023, in Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery FLW in Waynesville. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12:30 p.m. in Memorial Chapel. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Mark Moda and may be left at the funeral home.
