Marie Ripley, 91, of Clinton, formerly of Eldridge, died Monday, June 29, 2020, in Clinton.
She was born Jan. 17, 1929, in Eldridge, Mo. to Reverend Albert and Cleo Mosier Moore.
On April 22, 1946, she married Johnnie Dale Ripley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Johnnie Dale Ripley on June 10, 2015; a daughter, Donna Sue and three brothers, Blufford, Harold and Bob Moore.
Marie retired from Blue Valley Federal Savings after working at National Bellas Hess for 16 years.
She accepted the Lord as her Savior at an early age and served Him faithfully until her death. She was the choir director and organist at Full Gospel Assembly in Independence for many years.
Survivors include her daughter, Dianna Antwiler of Clinton; a special granddaughter, Dana M. Hall and her husband David of Clinton; three great-grandchildren, Michael Hall and his wife Kimberly and Matthew Hall and his wife Heather, all of Calhoun, Mo. and Shana M. Hall of Clinton; three great-great-grandchildren, Ezekiel, Summer and Elisha Hall; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service for Marie Ripley will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2020, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel with Pastor Cliff Waterman officiating and Pastor Michael Hall, a eulogy. Burial will be in Hufft Cemetery near Eldridge under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
