Marie Adaline Matthews, 94, of Plato, died Monday, April 8, 2024, in her home near Plato.
She is survived by her two sons, David Matthews (Anita) of Plato, Bill Matthews (Gloria) of Oklahoma City, Okla.; nine grandchildren, Nonie, Rhiannon, Crystal, Heidi, Dustin, David Jr., James, Arthur James, and Moriah; thirteen great-grandchildren; her brother, Donald Reno (Carol) of Dade City, Fla.; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2024, in Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church in St. Robert. Burial was in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Waynesville.
Visitation was held Friday, from 10:30 a.m. until service time at 11:30 a.m. in Faith Lutheran Church.
Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Marie Matthews and may be left at the church or the funeral home.
