Mariah LeighAnne Murrell, 26, of Waynesville, and a citizen of the Cherokee Nation, died Monday, April 5, 2021, as a result of a drowning accident.
She is survived by her parents, Twila and Donald Barnes of Waynesville; four children, Noah, Penny, Ricky, and Gabriel, all of Waynesville; four brothers, Timothy Martin of Waynesville; Joshua Curtis of Springfield; Tristan Gary of St. Robert, and Luke Gary of Windsor; grandparents, Ben and Marie McCown of Chouteau, Okla.; Paul and Judy Gary of Lowery City; Vickie Gary of Windsor, and Kenneth and Imagene Barnes of Thayer; several other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from noon-5 p.m. Monday, April 12, 2021, in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Burial will be held in the Sunset Memorial Estates of Waynesville. Private funeral services will be held under the direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Burial will be held in the Sunset Memorial Estates Cemetery of Waynesville.
