MARGARET LOUISE WRIGHT

Margaret Louise Wright born Nov. 9, 1936, in Lexington to Fred and Lillian (Jennings) Twitchell entered into her Heavenly home on July 6, 2023, in Odessa, Mo. surrounded by her family.

Margaret was united in marriage with Glenwood Wright on June 2, 1973, and spent many happy years raising their children and welcoming their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Glenwood, son Willy, her parents, two granddaughters, two brothers, and two sisters.

Margaret is survived by her children; Pam Ratliff (Wally) of Lexington; Robin Jensen (Clair) of Springfield; Traci Leach (Brad) of Lexington; Doreen Cromer (Jay) of West Plains; Jim Matney (Jackie) of Lebanon; Tony Wright of Lexington; sisters Emma Lee Baldridge and Anna Mae Baldridge, 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren with two more on the way, several nieces and nephews, special friends near and dear to her Robert and Sherri Braden, and a host of friends that were more like family.

Margaret professed her faith in the lord at a young age and reaffirmed that faith later in life and accepted Jesus as her savior and was firm in her salvation. Through the years Margaret wore many hats and did many jobs. She and her husband Glen raised and bred dogs for many years but her most recent job was in the tool shed at Detroit Tool where she enjoyed keeping all the men in line before retiring to enjoy her golden years. She enjoyed quilting and crocheting in her spare time but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends.

A memorial lunch for Margaret will be held July 15, 2023, at Presbyterian Disciples Church Fellowship Hall in Lexington at 1 p.m.
