Margaret Karen Riggle (Wood), 77, of Asher, Okla., passed away Feb. 1, 2021, in Shawnee, Okla.
Karen was born Aug. 10, 1943, in Lebanon, Mo. to Leo and Faye (Maxine) Wood. She grew up on a farm in rural Missouri and attended the Rippy School through 8th grade, then attended Lebanon High School.
On May 4, 1963, Karen married Edd Riggle in Lebanon. After Edd’s service in the Army, they moved to Asher, Okla. During their 40 years together, they resided in Lebanon, Mo., Oklahoma City, Yukon, and retired to Asher in 2003.
Karen was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her brothers, Lee Wayne and David Wood.
She is survived by her four children: Jana Donnelly and her husband Stephen, Deborah Shepard and husband Bob, Eddie Riggle and Amanda Riggle, and grandson Robert Shepard, along with many brothers/sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of Karen’s life will be held at 11 a.m. March 24, 2021, at the Wanette Cemetery in Wanette, Okla.
