Many attend Christmas on Commercial despite rain

Posted
Even heavy rain was unable to dampen Christmas spirit during the second annual Christmas on Commercial Street event. About 50 downtown business participated by staying open late and offering fun activities for children and families. Commercial Street sidewalks were filled with people from 5 p.m. until about 7 p.m. when heavy rains sent many indoors or home. Several food truck vendors located under the new Farmer’s Market pavilion saw families escaping the rain and enjoying a bite to eat during that time. For more on this story see Wednesday's LCR.
