A Lebanon man is accused of assaulting his pregnant girlfriend with a taser and threatening to kill her unborn child.
Derick Lee Hough, 30, faces multiple charges in connection with the alleged assault, including first-degree kidnapping, two counts of armed criminal action, second-degree kidnapping, two counts of second-degree domestic assault and two counts of third-degree domestic assault.
Hough is being held in the Laclede County Jail with bond denied.
He is next scheduled to be in court on Nov. 2 for a bond review, according to court records.
At about 3 p.m. Oct. 27, a Lebanon Police officer responded to the Midwest Inn on West Elm Street for a report of a domestic disturbance. Hough claimed that he was “just trying to get his stuff back” from his 30-year-old girlfriend. She alleged that Hough had attacked her, tried to kidnap her and threatened to kill her unborn child, according to a probable cause statement filed by the LPD.
