Joel E. Barber School has two new “Buddy Benches” thanks to a collaborative effort involving Lebanon Technology and Career Centernd the school’s PTO.
Emily Elliott of the Joel E. Barber PTO said the project began after they learned that the school playground did not have any benches.
“It was asked if we could sponsor some benches, so we got with the Lebanon High School and LTCC welding class We asked them make us some benches,” Elliott said.
She explained the concept behind the Buddy Benches.
