The Lebanon Police Department and U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division are working together on an investigation concerning military property.
Few details have been released in the investigation by either agency involved.
“Due to the ongoing investigation, no further information will be released at this time,” said USA Criminal Investigation Command Chief of Public Affairs Chris Grey in an email to the Laclede County Record.
The Lebanon Police Department was first notified Friday of an ongoing investigation in Lebanon by the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division. The LPD aided in the initial investigation, and the two agencies are “jointly still investigating the matter further,” according to LPD Public Information Officer Sgt. Kacie Springer.
“There isn’t much more that is releasable at the time due to the nature of the investigation and that there are still several aspects needing investigated,” Springer said.
Neither agency would confirm where the investigation took place or who was involved. The Laclede County Record will report more information about the investigation as it becomes available.
