SSG (Ret.) Lourdes “Lou’’ Barbara Cruz, 69, of Dixon, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2023, in the Dixon Nursing and Rehab Center in Dixon.
She is survived by her husband Joseph Cruz of Dixon; three children, Anthony D. Cruz (Nanette) of Tipp City, Ohio; Louanna Rawaeklang (“Noon’’) of Land O Lakes, Fla., and Therese Hell (Justin) of South Korea; 10 grandchildren, Tyler, Gavin, Joey, Sophia, Brae, Aly, Jayvlan, Kaili, Jace and Scarlett; four siblings, John Cruz, Vicky Reyes, Anne Salas, and Mary Sills; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2023, in the St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery FLW in Waynesville. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until noon Wednesday in Memorial Chapels and Crematory in Waynesville before the service at 12:30 p.m. in the church.
