Louis Farkasdi, Jr., a United States Air Force Retiree, age 89, of Waynesville, Mo., passed away Sunday, July 26, 2026, at his home in Waynesville, Mo.
He is survived by his wife, Bella Farkasdi of the home; his daughter, Lina Rose (Darrell) of Killeen, Texas; his son, Samuel Farkasdi (Heidi) of Buchanan, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Jeffery Farkasdi (Kaitlyn), Amber Farkasdi (John), Chance Reed (Shalia), Christon Reed (Ashley), Desiree Reed; five great-grandchildren, Melody, Florabell, Ashton, Ayla, and Carrina; a brother, Joseph Kenwolf of the state of Hawaii; his sister, Jean Ann Gances of Sissionville, W.V.; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 31, 2026, in the Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert. Burial with full military honors followed in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery of Waynesville, Mo.
Visitation was held Friday from 10 a.m. until service time at 11:30 a.m. in Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
