Lora M. Vargas, 99, of Marshfield, died Thursday, April 3, 2020, in Marshfield Care Center in Marshfield.
She was born Feb. 14, 1921, in Conway, Mo. to John and Vollie (Haymes) Silkey.
Lora was preceded in death by her parents; a son, John Lindsay; three sisters, Eula, Ruby, and Mary.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Lasswell, of Baxter Springs, Kan. and Donna Denton of Marshfield; a daughter-in-law, Anna Mae Lindsay of Marshfield; five grandchildren, Romana, Steve, Charles, Cindy, and Joyce; nine great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
No services are planned. Cremation has been entrusted to Day Funeral Home of Marshfield.
