Well known Lebanon attorney Darrell Lee Deputy Jr., died Saturday. He was 77.
Deputy was born May 26, 1942, in Lebanon, to Darrell Deputy Sr. and Hazel Hayes Deputy. He grew up on Adams Avenue in Lebanon and as a young boy joined First Baptist Church. He excelled in academics and sports. The family said that he could often be found trading baseball cards or playing basketball with friends.
Even at a young age, his determined spirit was ever working forward and he set his sights on becoming an attorney. His high school career included basketball, debate champion, and numerous academic awards.
