Lon Charles Deckard, 59, of Waynesville, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020, in the Phelps Health Center of Rolla.
Mr. Deckard is survived by his wife, Janet Deckard, of Waynesville; his mother, Barbara Woodward (Terry) of Earlville, Ill.; two children: Colt Deckard (Victoria) of Mt. Prospect, Ill. and Danielle Swartz (Brandon) of Waynesville; five grandchildren: CoriLynn, Terra, Lilly, Anya and Orin; one brother: Lindsey Decked of Ottawa, Ill.; one sister: Kathy Broadas (Randy) of Ottawa, Ill.; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, in the Faith Baptist Church of Waynesville under the direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Lon Deckard and may be left at the funeral home.
