Local runners compete at state cross country meet in Columbia

It was a successful state cross country meet for local runners as Conway and Lebanon High School runners competed at the Class 2 and Class 5 meet. The runners competed at Gans Creek Cross Country course in Columbia on Friday and Saturday. Conway junior Dorothea Gantert ran a personal best at the meet to end the season, finishing 26th out of 163 runners with a time of 21:30. According to head coach Andrew Lowery, Gantert is the fourth individual fastest runner at the state meet for the Bears. For more on this story see the LCR.
