Lebanon Middle School students will perform “Twain’s Tales” at the middle school March 13 and 14. The play starts at 7 p.m. and runs a little more than an hour.
There are 37 in the cast, according to LSM drama/speech and debate teacher Lindsey Marcum. “Students have had to get down a hillbilly style accent as well as Russian and French,” Marcum said. “This is a very entertaining and educational show, but a lot of Mark Twain’s humor is old fashioned and it has been tricky to have students understand the humor and content of the play. They have learned lines and blocking/movements at a record speed and are doing well in many aspects of the show.”
