Linda Sue Wahl, 67, of Lebanon, died Sunday, March 7, 2021, in Lebanon.

She was born Sept. 11, 1953, in Lebanon, Mo to Pearchie Daniel and Mary Lou Garcia Hurt.

On Feb. 19, 1983, she married Teddy Lynn Wahl.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Teddy Wahl; who died April 18, 2020; three brothers, Jerry, Leroy and Clifford Hurt; one sister, Coleeda Rippel; and one granddaughter, Casey June Wahl.

Linda was a cook at Joel E. Barber School and later a supervisor of housekeeping at Super 8. She retired as the director and supervisor of the housekeeping department of St. John’s Hospital (now Mercy) after many years of service.

She attended Wood Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include four sons, Wesley Briggs and his wife Lisa, Travis Wahl, and Dustin Wahl and his wife Misty, all of Lebanon, and Tony Wahl of Ozark; one daughter, Melinda Wahl of Iola, Kan.; eight grandchildren, Gerald, Jayden, Courtney, Daniel, Peyton, Noah, Cole and Abygail; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Linda Sue Wahl will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2021, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in Conway, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time, also on Friday at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel. To sign the guestbook please visit shadelscolonialchapel.com.
