Linda Sue Thornsberry Wilson, 69, of Kansas City, Mo. died Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, in Kansas City.
She was born July 9, 1951, in Crocker, Mo. to Chandos “Earl’’ and Emma Belle Gill Thornsberry.
On Sept. 3, 1976, she married Dennis Ray Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband Dennis R. Wilson, who died on Oct. 11, 2018.
Linda spent over 34 years with the Department of Defense. She retired from Civil Service in August 2008.
She was an active and faithful member of Martin City Baptist Church in Kansas City, Mo.
Survivors include her special son, Thomas Earl Wilson of the home; one sister, Myra Thornsberry of Grandview; her mother-in-law, Wanola Myers of Hastings, Neb.; brother and sister-in-law, Earnie and Mary Lou Wilson of Hastings, Neb.; other relatives and many dear friends.
Funeral services for Linda Sue Wilson will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021, at Elm Grove Baptist Church near Richland with the Rev. Bill Tallant, Rev. Curtis Richardson, and Daniel Lopez officiating. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery near Richland, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon. There is no scheduled visitation.
