Linda Marie Crisp Long, 76, of Phillipsburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024, in Phillipsburg.
She was born February 5, 1948, in Lebanon, Mo. to John Monroe and Eula Belle Meads Crisp.
On February 11, 1966, she was united in marriage to Jim Long.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Karen Crisp Brown.
Linda was a legal secretary and grew up in the Lebanon area. She attended and graduated from Lebanon High School in the class of 1966. Linda had many hobbies she enjoyed. She enjoyed spending time at Lake of the Ozarks. More recently, she loved to read, watch science fiction movies, and crewel embroidery. However of all things, she loved about this life, spending time and making memories with her family, especially her grandchildren, is what she cherished most.
She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Linda is survived by her husband, Jim Long; two sons, John Long and his wife Katherine, and Jimmy Long and his wife Paula; grandchildren, John B. Long, Sarah J. Long, and Anna M. Long; one brother, Johnny Crisp; one sister, Kathy Woolsey; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
A memorial service for Linda Marie Crisp Long will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 16, 2024, at Hillcrest Baptist Church with David Brown and Bradley Jemes officiating.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m. until service time at the church.
