She was raised in Lebanon and graduated from Lebanon High School in the class of 1955. Following graduation, she married the love of her life, Ray Keith Lewis, on June 18, 1955. Together they shared over 67 years of challenges and joys of married life, while raising their three children, Karen, Kelly and Kevin.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Carl Scott and Lansford Scott.

She is survived by her husband Ray Keith Lewis of Lebanon; two daughters, Karen Gier and her husband, Bruce of Eldon, and Kelly Vaughn and her husband, Johnny of Lebanon; her son, Kevin Lewis and his wife, Lori of Lebanon; five grandchildren, Maggie Koehler and her husband, Seth of Lebanon, Missouri, Tara Crawford and her husband, Shane of Republic, Missouri, Ryan Gier and his wife, Lupita of Eldon, Missouri, Paige Wilson and her husband, Skyler of Lincoln, and Sydney Lewis of Springfield; five great-grandchildren; her two special caregivers, Jeannie Huntington and Rhonda Crawford, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

After she and Keith were married, Linda worked as a switchboard operator for the telephone company. She remarked to her children that this was a fun job and she enjoyed it very much. Linda later worked at Consumers in Lebanon and at the Hughes Center. She had a heart for service and helped with Meals on Wheels.

Linda was a long time member of White Oak Pond Presbyterian Church in Lebanon. In her later years, she attended Calvary Baptist Church in Lebanon. She loved God and serving him. Many times this service came from her kitchen as she used her gift of hospitality. Many times after church on Sunday, she would go to the local auction held in Lebanon on Sunday afternoon.

Linda had a wonderful garden and grew her own vegetables. Many of these vegetables she gave to family and friends. She was a strong and devoted wife and mother. Many times she was the only parent at home, as her husband was an over-the-road truck driver.

Linda was an amazing lady and was so loved by her family. She was a friend and family member you could count on. Her family will certainly cherish the many memories they made with her.
