Lila Fern Yenter, 81, of Lebanon, died on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, at Phelps Health Hospital in Rolla after after a lengthy illness.

She was born March 11, 1940, in Merkle, Texas to the late Charles E. and Aline S. Walker.

She is survived by her husband William Yenter of Lebanon; one daughter Catherine Yenter of Lebanon; two sons, Michael Yenter of Morrison, Colo. and Brent Yenter of Longview, Texas; two granddaughters Brittani Yenter of Lufkin, Texas and Ashley Lowery of Tyler, Texas, and three great-granddaughters, Hallie Lowery, Lacie Lowery and Ava Lowery; three brothers Jack Walker of Llano, Texas; Harold Walker of Salida, Colo.; Charles Walker of Silver City, N.M.; one sister Patsy Godwin of Aurora, Colo.; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Lila was preceded in death by one brother Odell Walker of Merkle, Texas; two sisters Juanita Rhynes of Cleburn, Texas, and Dorothy Hulburt of Palisade, Colo. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021, at Freedom Church of the Nazarene, 1701 Lynn St., Lebanon, Mo. 65536.

A memorial service will be held at a later, to be determined date, at Denver First Church of the Nazarene in Denver, Colo. and a grave side service at Memorial Gardens in Colorado Springs, Colo.
