In a follow-up to last week’s joint meeting, the Lebanon-Laclede County Library Board of Trustees chose a background check service for prospective library employees during its Tuesday meeting.
The library board approved the use of Checkr as a background check service, discussed committees, finances and other matters. Meeting attendees also went on a tour of Andy’s Storytime Room and the patio at the back of the library.
Following up on the library board’s directive to Director Tina Chaney last week to return with a proposal for an employee background check service, the board approved the use of Checkr’s Essential option for $54.99 per report for prospective employees.
