LHS wrestling wins district championship

Posted

The Lebanon High School boys’ wrestling team won the Missouri Class 3 District 3 championship a year ago in dramatic fashion by putting Neosho’s 10-straight district title run to a halt. On Saturday at Camdenton, the Yellowjackets cruised to their second-straight district title by capturing the Missouri Class 3 District 5 championship.

LHS finished first out of seven teams with a total score of 240, and Camdenton took second with 169.5 team points while Marshfield trailed behind in third with 160 points.

Overall, the team had 13 wrestlers advance to the Sectional round on February 27 at Willard High School.
