The Lebanon High School track and field team recently competed at the Missouri Class 5 Sectional 3 track and field meet on Saturday at Carthage High School.
With the top four in each event advancing to State, the Yellowjackets had nine student-athletes in seven different events qualify for the prestigious meet that will be held Thursday at Jefferson City High School.
“The track and field team had a great day at the Sectional meet,” head coach Shane Rebmann said. “I am proud of our team for their effort. We had a couple of kids who were just short of achieving the goal of advancing to State.”
