LHS theater department invites audience to ‘Beauty and the Beast’

The Lebanon High School Theatre Department invites community members to attend the musical adaption of the Disney classic “Beauty and the Beast” this Friday and Saturday. After deciding with Choir Director Max Jackson that a Disney adaptation would be fitting for the department’s fall musical, drama teacher Sabrina Sander and Jackson began running auditions and then rehearsals from the first week of school until now, five days a week. “Musicals take a lot, so we had to get started kind of immediately,” Sander said, later adding, “Definitely some tiring work that we’ve been doing, but I think that they’ll really like it.” For more on this story, see Wednesday's LCR.
