The Lebanon High School Robotics team is participating in the “GoBabyGo” program to help children with mobility issues.
Head Robotics Coach Jenn Taylor said the program converts ride-on toys into mobility devices for children with special needs who are too young for motorized wheelchairs.
“It’s a program for birth to about 3 years of age,” she said. “It helps toddlers to be able to explore their world independently and some older children, 3-4.”
Lebanon Robotics said at least three local children could benefit from having an adapted ride-on toy car to improve their mobility.
