Lewis Olen Hill, 91, of Buffalo, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, from Covid 19.
He was born Feb. 12, 1929, in Red Top, Mo. to H.R. and Maude (Jackson) Hill.
On Mach 25, 1951, he married Mary Lou Gregg.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Lewis Patrick; brother, Homer; sisters Mildred, Wilma, Nora and Jewell, and son-in-law, Jim Whitt.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Mary Lou of the home; his children, Elizabeth Whitt of Nixa; Cynthia Browning of Springfield; Jay (Jerri) Hill of Buffalo; Janet (Darryl) Wells of Bolivar; grandchildren Chris (Rae) Browning, Brian (Meschelle) Browning, Jamie (Kim) Whitt, Brandon (Julie) Whitt, Patrick (Lacey) Whitt, Jayson Hill, Jennifer (Grant) Korte, Chad McCarty, Drew Wells (Madeline Hall-Baker), Alex Wells, and Carley (Logan) Bryan; 19 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; brothers Jim (Reva) Hill, Ernest (Claudia) Hill, and Gene (Anita) Hill; also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A private memorial service will be be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to High Prairie Christian Church, 569 Red Top Road, Fair Grove, Mo. 65648.
